Fruit & Veal Sauté

1 lb veal cutlets, cut 1/2" thick

2 med pears

Lemon juice

1 tbsp cooking oil

2 tsp cornstarch

2/3 c pear nectar

2 tbsp sliced scallions

1 tsp instant beef bouillon granules

1/2 tsp dried mint, crushed

Cut veal into 4 serving-size portions. Sprinkle with salt & pepper & set aside. 
Cut unpeeled pears in 1/2 lengthwise & remove cores. Cut fruit crosswise

into /.4" thick slices & brush with lemon juice. Set aside. Meanwhile, heat 10" 
microwave browning dish on High 5 min. Add cooking oil & swirl to coat

dish. Add veal to browning dish. Cook veal, uncovered, on High 3-5 min or until 
no pink remains, turning veal over after 2 min. Remove veal & set aside,

reserving drippings in browning dish. Stir cornstarch into drippings. Stir in 
pear nectar, scallions, beef bouillon granules & mint. Cook uncovered, on

Hig 2-4 min or until mixture is thickened & bubbly, stirring every min. Add 
pear slices & cooked veal to browning dish. Cook, covered on High 1-3 min more

or until fruit is heated through.
