PAYDAY COOKIES 1 yellow cake mix 1 egg 1/3 c. butter 3 c. mini marshmallows 2/3 c. corn syrup (light) 1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. vanilla 12 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips 2 c. Rice Krispies 2 c. salted peanuts
Mix together cake mix, egg and 1/3 cup butter. Bake in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. When baked and while still hot, put 3 cups mini marshmallows on top. Then in medium saucepan, mix together corn syrup, 1/4 cup butter, vanilla and peanut butter chips. Heat until smooth, stirring constantly. Then add Rice Krispies and peanuts. Pour over marshmallows. Tastes like a payday candy bar!
