Potato Sausage Casserole

1 lb. bulk pork sausage or ground pork
1 10-3/4-oz can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 c. sliced potatoes
1-1/2 c. (6-oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to dg350. Spray a 1-1/2-quart casserole with nonstick
spray. Set aside.

Cook sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to
seperate, until no longer pink. Drain fat.

In medium bowl stir together soup, milk, onions, salt and pepper.
Place half of potatoes into casserole. Top with half of soup mixture.
Top with half of sausage. Repeat layers, ending with sausage. Cover
pan with foil. Bake 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours, or until potatoes are
tender. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven and bake
until cheese is melted and bubbly.
