Mini Farfalle with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and basil



The typical ingredients found in caprese, i.e. mozzarella and tomato,
bring out all the creativity and lightness of the Mini Farfalle, the
protagonist of the first course.

INGREDIENTS
Mini Farfalle Barilla
350
g
Cherry tomatoes
150
g
Mozzarella cheese
125
g
Basil
35
g
Chopped onion
1
tablespoons
Extra-virgin olive oil
2
tablespoons
Garlic
1
clove
Salt

to taste
PREPARATION
1.Chop the garlic and onion and brown them in a pan with the oil. Dice
the tomatoes after having skinned them and removed their seeds. Add them
to the onion and garlic mixture along with the basil leaves and cook for
three minutes. Season with salt to taste. Now dice the Mozzarella
cheese.
2.Cook the Mini Farfalle in lots of salted water, drain, then stir in
the sauce and diced Mozzarella cheese.
CHEF*S NOTE
To add more flavor to the dish, you could replace the mozzarella with
cubed caciotta cheese.
