I might try again at some point; we even had a sighted person check for us, and at the time, he/she said it looked just fine, so who knows; another one of life's old mysteries. I don't own one of thosee pans anymore.

You just have to make sure that the clamps are on tight and that the bottom is snug against the sides. I use them all the time. I have 3 sizes.
