EZ CP South Of The Border Beef & Beans

1-1/2 lbs. boneless beef round steak 
1 clove garlic, minced 
1/4 tsp. pepper 
1/4 tsp. salt 
1 tsp. chili powder 
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard 
1 onion, chopped 
1 tsp. beef bouillon granules 
1 cup fresh or bottled salsa 
1 16-oz. can red kidney beans, drained

Trim fat from meat.  Combine garlic, pepper, salt, 
chili powder & mustard. Coat meat with mix. Cut 
meat into 1/2 " wide strips.  Place incrockpot. Stir 
in onion, bouillon granules & salsa. Cover; cook on 
low 7-1/2 to 8 hrs.  Turn control to high. Add beans. 
Cover; cook on high for 30 min.
Prep Note:  The salsa used here comes in a variety 
of *heat* temperatures.....let your mouth and your 
tummy be your guides
