Pecan Pie
Instead of pecan halves, try using walnut halves or chopped macadamia
nuts in this classic Thanksgivng Day dessert.
Ingredients:
3 eggs (beaten)
1 cup corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups pecan halves1 unbaked pie crust
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together eggs, corn syrup, sugar,
melted butter, and vanilla. Stir in pecan halves. Pour mixture into pie
crust. Cover edge of pie with foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and
bake 20 to 25 minutes more or until a knife inserted in center comes out
clean.
