Creamy Brownie Bars
1 pkg. double fudge brownie mix
2 eggs
1/3 C. water
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1/2 C. chopped pecans
Topping:
1 (8 oz) pkg. crema cheese (softened)
2 eggs
3 1/2 C. powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom of 9x13 baking pan. For brownies,
combine brownie mix, contents of the fudge packet from mix, eggs, water
and oil in a large bowl. Stir with spoon until well blended, about 50
strokes. Stir in pecans. Spread evenly in pan. For topping, beat cream
cheese in a large bowl at medium speed with electric mixer until smooth.
Beat in eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread
evenly over brownie mixture. Bake 45-60 minutes or until edges and top
are golden brown and shiny. Cool completely. Refrigerate until well
chilled. Cut into bars
