Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Won't Release Duets Album This Year Fri. February 22.2008 4:47 PM EST
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have occasionally mentioned the possibility of recording an entire album together, but a duets project is not planned anytime soon. In a statement Friday (Feb. 22) by her publicist, Hill said, "Tim and I have always talked about making an album together, but at this time there are no plans for one this year. We're both working on our own projects -- me on my first Christmas record and perhaps a few other surprises in '08 and he on a new tour, his next album and a movie to be released this Christmas." McGraw will appear in Four Christmases, a romantic comedy featuring Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, Reese Witherspoon and Dwight Yoakam. Hannah Montana Movie Will Include Tennessee Locations Fri. February 22.2008 4:47 PM EST Following six months of negotiations, part of Miley Cyrus' movie based on her character on Disney's Hannah Montana TV series will be filmed in Tennessee. Cyrus' father, Billy Ray Cyrus, had been encouraging the Walt Disney Co. to shoot part of the feature film on location in the Nashville area. Much of the film will be shot in Los Angeles, but the state of Louisiana was reportedly in the running for part of the production that's scheduled to begin in late April or early May. The film is tentatively scheduled to be released in May 2009. Jeff Bates' New CD Due April 8 Fri. February 22.2008 4:47 PM EST Jeff Bates will release a new, self-titled album on April 8 on the Black River Music Group label. While recording for RCA, Bates' hits included "The Love Song," "Long, Slow Kisses" and "I Wanna Make You Cry." Bates co-wrote 10 of the 13 songs on the album co-produced by Jimmy Nichols, Kenny Beard and Mickey Jack Cones The first single, "Don't Hate Me for Loving You," will be released on Feb. 25.
