EASY ROLL OUT WHITE SUGAR COOKIES   

      2 c. sugar
      2 eggs
      2 tsp. vanilla
      2 c. shortening
      1 c. milk
      7 1/2 c. flour
      2 tsp. soda
      2 tsp. cream of tartar

      Cream sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and shortening. Sift 2 cups of the flour 
with soda and cream of tartar. Stir well into cream mixture. Add rest of flour 
1 cup at a time, stirring well each time until dry ingredients are mixed in. 
Chill for 1 hour. Roll and cut out shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 
minutes. I dust my board where I roll out cookies lightly with flour. If they 
don't roll easy. mix in a little more flour. Can frost and decorate or good 
plain.
