MINCEMEAT DATE BREAD
2 boxes Pillsbury quick date bread mix
1 box condensed mincemeat
Prepare mincemeat with water, as directed on box. Pour in colander to
cool and drain. Grease bottoms of 2 loaf pans. Prepare one package of date
bread mix as directed on box. Add 1/2 the drained mincemeat to batter. Pour in
prepared pan. Repeat process for second loaf.
Bake as directed on box, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and
wrap tightly. Slice with an electric knife and serve with a side dish of cream
cheese frosting spread, if desired. This is a nice bread to share with friends.
