PECAN TARTS
10 unbaked 4" tartlet shells
1/2 cup melted butter
1-cup brown sugar
1/2-teaspoon vanilla
1/2-cup maple syrup
2 eggs
2 teaspoons pecan extract
2 cups halved pecans
Mix ingredients of filling together, adding pecans last. Spoon into
unbaked tart shells, distributing syrup and pecans evenly. Bake at   425
degrees for 8 minutes, then at 350 degrees until crust is golden brown,
about /0-15 minutes. Introduced at Christmas with such success, we
con­tinue to sell them year round.
