i've since discovered that you're not supposed to try to connect
to port 5080 and send it rtsp requests.

however, the runtime error that occurs appears to stop things
from working.

consider it a bug-report :)

in which case i'd better give more details, hadn't i. *sigh*.

okay, because i didn't know what i was supposed to do, i
typed rtsp://localhost:5080/fitcDemo into the connect dialog
on the video conference flash 7 thing.

... splat...
