well it will be the good thing on flash is it gets developed, the 
flashplayer9 for linux is soon available!
btw. i also do lzx, which is a scripting language that uses a formerly
closed source now opensource application server by openlaszlo.org
that outputs swf files, its like flex if u know that.

well in that point your absolutly right,
but may flash is the only plugin that will be available on all devices 
(mobile aswell).
