http://blogs.zdnet.com/Stewart/?p=96 may i point you to this interview. btw u said u developed 1 year, i would wait untill spring next year, and resolve the existing bugs untill then if you would like to use java, do it, there are many projects with java vnc viewers choosen that way. if you would like to go the canvas - svg way, do it, you have seen how compatible it is to other even mozilla versions. i dont whant sell you something, its your choice of course. @ claus wahlers, i know fvnc, dident tested it untill yet like i mentioned before, but as far as i read i found there are 2 reasons why i may in need of a different way 1) fvnc needs an installed vnc server which is very good for the most applications, but i must a kind of a connector aswell in case of iam also saving files localy in my project and thus it would be stupid if the enduser will have 2 or 3 setups. 2) fvnc uses as i explained in my mail before the bitmapdata class which need alot of resources, more than a videocomponent will( i think). may iam wrong , then i would need to say sorry, just can imagine yet that a fullsize window "drawn" with or by bitmapdata will work while a coded vulcano fontaine with 320*240 pixel, only for example, causes the player and the pc to slow down, the software should not need to require 2 mb ram and a minimum of a 2.4 GHz cpu to run. but i will test fvnc, may iam absolutkly wrong would make me very happy :D, just hadend any time untill yet, may at the end of the week may i have some more time:D greetz Sascha _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org
