If it's a flash UI, then it's RTMP - right? Seems to work well from what that video looks like and done nicely. I've never heard of Asterix, I'll have to look that up. What does Asterix handle/do?

Looks like they're using Asterix and Flash for the video. Haven't
downloaded the source so I have no idea how it works at the moment.
