If you want to play audio only flv files in your flash application you need to play them just as if they were movies.
If you want to convert flv's into mp3's then it depends what codec was used to encode that audio in the flv. If it's Nelly Moser you can't, if it's MP3 then I think there is a way. flv files recorded trough FMS or red5 have the audio encoded with Nelly moser.
