HI guys!

I'm pretty new in using red5, but i have a pretty big problem :)

I have two computers connected with 100Mbit LAN. (no problem with its
bandwidth, copying is ok)
pc1: red5 server
pc2: connecting to pc1's red5 rtmp and publishes the camera video.

camera video, setMode [EMAIL PROTECTED] fps with the quality 90%

if I trace Camera -> fps its stable 25 as i set it
Camera -> currentFps is ok as well, around 22-25 fps
but NetStream -> currentFps is pretty low, around 5-6 fps..

with a bandwidth meter, it eats ~ 200KByte ~ 1.5 mbit

if i set cam quality to 10% i get better fps around 10-12, worse quality,
but the bandwith is still around this 1.5mbit, and still not 25 neither 15
fps.

seems to me to have some limit either in flash NetStream structure or red5.

of course i played a lot in flash with setquality, and tried to change in
red5 the red5 common xml bandwith limiter params,
i user the oflaDemo, and tried to change its Application.java ' s appStart
bandwith limiting paraeters

NOTHING worked, it still if reaches 1.5mbit starts to kill my fps.

tried this with a lot of comps, core2duo laptops, and pcs, 1-2-3gigs of ram,
no change,
tried with other applications not oflaDemo but fitchDemo etc...
mmm lan is ok...
tried with other webcams and capture drivers... various fps Z but the
bandwith stops at 1.5mbit at each solution.
webcams: noname desktop webcam, Microsoft Logitech VX-6000 Lifecam, VHscreen
capture driver, webcammax etc

thx 4 ur help
