You will have little or no control on what theh database schema will be on a
commerical CMS.  You will no doubt have input into object
definitions/workflow etc but as far as information storing in their
proprietary schemas goes - you will have no leverage.    Your DB design etc
will effectively become redudant in favour of the CMS functions.  Try to get
up to speed as fast as you can on whatever is chosen.
