Can anyone tell me if whether or not the Asset Manager in RedDot CMS 9 can actually search by meta keywords (not assigned keywords within RedDot)... or if the embedded keywords show up as RedDot keywords within the asset manager.
I ask because I am currently using Extensis Portfolio to manage over 60,000 images. As part of the final workflow, metadata keywords and others are embedded within the file using EXIF. This is a searchable taxonomy for systems/programs that allow a search method using EXIF Metadata. If this can be seen by the asset manager that is one less step needed to allow image search and import using the Asset Manager... Perhaps this is a functionality in V. 10.0!!! :-) Any help is appreciated... perhaps there is a way to import a keyword taxonomy that is an export from the Extensis System???? Ideas?
