Hi Dmitry, Emily

Thanks for the responses.

The content blocks within the page are only connected to this container. I've
tried disconnecting and reconnecting the content block; I've tried deleting and
adding a brand new block... so I'd be fairly happy saying it's not related to
the linking/appearance schedule.

As for making sure that the list/container is available in the template I've
been right back to basics and created a new base page and a new content block

The base page is

<html>
        <head></head>
        <body>
                <%lst_navigation%>
                <%con_container%>
        </body>
</html>

The new content block is

<div><%stf_text%></div>

I've added the new page into the site's structure and placed the new content
block into con_container. A publish of the new base page publishes both the
page and the content block. Publishing the content block generates the error.
If I use exactly the same templates in a different project there is no error...
so it's something project related, I just can't for the life of me work out
what it could be

thanks
Paul
