OK... I just installed RH5.1 on my box. But I cannot use the RPM Manager
in Xfree. I start up the manager and select 'Available'. It starts to
scan the CD it gets to about 90% and stops scanning. I don't understand!
I have tried this on 3 different CDs. I even coppied a RPM from the CD
to the HD and tried it that way. When I hit 'Available' it did not move
at all. Yes I did change in the config where to look. And the CD drive
mounts fine!
Specs (probably wont help)
p166 with 96M
8x CDROM ATAPI (it mounts perfectly fine)
