For Doom2, just make sure the environment variable DOOMWADDIR points to
where the doom2.wad file is; LinuxDoom will run either .wad with the same
exectuable.
Quake - there are binaries at sunsite in /pub/Linux/games/quake.
Quake2 - there are binaries at ftp.idsoftware.com in /pub/idstuff/quake2/unix.
Of course, you still need the data files. The shareware ones are available
in lots of places; the registered ones in your local stores.

There's a version of xquake for the Alpha at ftp.kernel.org in
/pub/linux/kernel/testing. As for Doom, there's probably binaries somewhere;
if all else fails, you can download the SRPM from contrib/hurricane and
try building that.
