For doom 2 you need the wad's. Just replace them w/ the doom 1 (I think
this works, never actually tried it, I'm not much of a gamer). For quake
you need the pak's in a subdirectory of quake named "id1" (notice the
lowercase), which also need to be lower case. The you either need quake
for svga-lib or x. svga-lib runs a little faster, but might be harder to
setup (quake isn't, but svga-lib might be). You can also get quakeworld if
you'r into net playing.
