I've compiled the newest version of bind on 4.2 and 5.0 (needed to change
some defines in the source for 5.0) and never had a problem. The source
if available from ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind/
My machine has been up now for 5 days and i haven't had to restart named
yet. In fact i don't remember having any problems with named dieing.
