Hello, Dear Linux users,

Suddenly one of my servers quit backing itself up via NFS... error
messages are as follows: "NFS server backup is not responding. Timeout."

Sounds like a network problem, right? Well, not exactly. I can ping server
backup, with intervals from 1-2 ms, and the timeout is set for 30. Also,
backup is going for some reason 20 times slower then it used to be...

Nothing was changed on a client box... On an NFS server, I have
upgraded the kernel, and thats it. (Other machines are backing up to it
properly). Server is RH5.0 with patches, client is 4.2with most patches.

Please, any ideas???

TIA

Boris
