My fault. I've confused even myself. Here goes:
At tax152, if I type "telnet linux1 imap" I just get the login screen.
If I'm in linux1 as a user, then type in "telnet linux1 imap", I get the
proper IMAP prompt.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the help.
