Bad Idea (tm)! Seriously.... the login procedure is there
for a reason. Unless you live alone in a secured house
(military-grade secure, that is) with the machine totally
disconnected from the outside world it's not safe to
"auto-log-in" to a machine the way you do in Windows. Why
do you think there are so many exploits for Windows?
Because whoever is on the local console at the time is
"root" with the priveleges of "root!" (speaking of Win9x,
btw.)
Just live with logging in with a username and password -- I
mean, it takes what, about 30-60 seconds to log in????
