Mikkel,

Well I did run the command, and it gave me a prompt and it said nothing else.  
So do you think it might be a BIOS issue then?  Have you heard of any issues
with the Intel 440GX+ MB?  I have not check out Intels page yet for an updated
one.  Sounds like it might be something that is needed.  For what, who knows.

Have you played with SAMBA much?  If you want to take this off the list
that is OK with me.
