Well, I've diald (dial-on-demand) working and I've got ip-masquerading
working. Now I've got to get them working together.
I followed the instructions in diald for getting it up. I am using all defauls
(like filtering) except, of course, for the connection chat script. The diald
script that I modeled is for dynamic pp for local host.
ip-masquerading was a bit of a challenge but I got it up after using the
dotfile generator to generate a long script of necessary commands. Once a
connection is established on my linux host, a ping of an internet addresss from
my win95 box works fine.
On my linux host box, a ping of an internet addresss will kick off diald. When
I do the same from my Win95 box, diald does not seem to see the traffic and
nothing happens.
So, any ideas?
