1)When I do chmod +x /etc/ppp/ppp-on*, what is the meaning og the symbol
*
at the end of the command, pls?
2) How can I desactivate the Plug and Play function of my modem. My
modem is PnP under my win95 partition, and I do not have any option in "
Modem Properties" to desactivate it. My modem is a Communicator 33.6K
with a Cirrus Logic chip.
