I have Redhat v4.2 and have printed out several hundred pages of HOWTO's and FAQs and
still can't get a ppp connection going. I can dial-up and get connected to my ISP. I
have edited pap-secrets and options files. As soon as I dial-in and logon, I type pppd
-d and promptly get disconnected. Supposedly, the -d flag logs the errors somewhere,
but I can't find where the logfile is. Anybody got any troubleshooting tips? Anybody
wanna buy RedHat Linux v4.2 (used) cheap?
