Hi!
I finaly got PPP to work i use RedHat 5.0 with Mgetty.
When i start up it all works fine but after about one hour mgetty? tries
to check if the modem i still on alive, and the port hangs. :-(
This is what's written in /var/log/log_mg.ttyS0
15:47:21 yS0 waiting... (Everything works fine here)
16:47:21 yS0 checking if modem is still alive
16:47:21 yS0 mdm_send: 'AT'
16:47:31 yS0 Warning: got alarm signal!
Is there someone who knows a solution on this problem?
By the way, the Modem is a 'Bullet E336RVP'
