Hi, I am trying to find if my EtherPCI Lan Card II of linksys is supported by redhat. During install of redhat I ve hardly tried to make it detected by my redhat 4.2 partition (dev/hda1), but it asked for the right I/O and IRQ. The problem is that, my Pnp card, successfully installed on my win95 partition (/dev/hda1)..I do not find anywhere any I/O and IRQ for it. On win95, I found the one for my com ports of modem and mouse..and no one for my Ethetnet card. I went in netcfg>addnew Interface, selected Ethernet, gave an IP to it and instead of DHCP or BootP, I ve manually entered TcP IP..but I guess that s not the right way of doing it ..cause there s no I/O or IRQ assigned and even if I do ifconfig eth0, I got message "No such Device". Could you pls help me for that..
