I once led the charge on tearing down Fenway but I change my tune after they
moved out of Tiger Stadium. I really regretted never seeing a ball game there,
and that forced me to recognize what we have here. Yes, there are uncomfortable
quirks, but they're outweighed by the charm and history. And the new ownership
has done a fantastic job redoing the ballpark. I hope the efforts don't suffer
from the departure of Janet Marie Smith.

I just can't see sorting out the who pays for what and where it goes,
where it doesn't go debate. In this day in age, I think its a tragedy that
taxes go to building parks... I would rather put good money somewhere else.

And that is a not a baseball answer

If the RedSox can do it on their own without tax payers... then go to
it.

        My opinion

        Which matters... not a lick.
