The problem isn't the bench -- everyone on the bench has been a starting
major league player as recently as last year. The problem is that the
starters haven't been hitting at all. Well, Victor's been hitting into a
record number of DPs, but other than that ...

Even then, the Sox have scored (thanks Toronto) one fewer run than the
Yankees, but have given up 46 more.
