Two points, first this error--while HUGE--did not impact the outcome of the
game. Just robbed someone of a personal and historic achievement.

Second, I'd be fine with some limited instant reply on the bases. I just
don't like the idea of a computer calling balls and strikes. It'd be handing
over too much control of a game to a computer with a TV camera.

There's a difference between using technology to support the umps and using
it to replace them. I can support the former, but not the latter.
