I put the perfect game is much rarer than a win. I was watching and I was psyched that I'd get to see the play. Nobody would be bitching if that call cost them the game.
So this is much *worse* than if it cost the team the game. I think the ump should have given the perfect game the benefit of the doubt. But it seems that Joyce had no doubts about the call until he saw the replay.
