Was it Ray that commented on Bard melting down with runners on base before? Kudos. Two balks in one inning when none of those guys were even likely to be running, or were leading far off bases. He's got something weird going on in his head. Someone's got to sit him down and tell him "pretend that Terry Francona is still here and the baserunners don't mean a damn."
Buchholz had a similar problem when he came up ... now he just gives up home runs so he doesn't have to deal with runners.
