Suggest you call Ron tomorrow as he'll not be in the store on Monday al day.  He works the weekends at the store.
Ron also has some of the best overflows - outdo the cpr 100 to 1.

Subject: Re: 300 Gallon Tank

Wow!  Thanks for all the replies to my questions about the tank.  Really am
excited about getting to do this.  First thing I am going to do is order the
ro/di unit and start the clean up.  Think the best bet is going with a
complete water change and doing what you all suggested with the live rock
cleaning, etc.  The tank is not drilled so I assume I will have to use one or
two hang on overflows.  Any suggestions?  And the pump (pumps) for the
return.  Any suggestions?  Am going to call Ron on Monday and get the skimmer
on order.  I have a friend at my LFS who has some advanced or magntek (not
sure) Tar ballasts that he is not using.  He has four that will fire two 4
ft. vhos each (he thinks they will do six footers too)  Think I will go ahead
and look at 8 four foot vhos (four daylight and four 03) and have t! he 03's
come on and the daylights come on later on timers.  I like the blue only look
in the morning and evening.  If we ever want to add some corals I think with
a couple MH pendants added to this we would be in good shape.  The lights,
Ron's skimmer, ro/di unit, water change, cleaning, will be a good start and
get us going I think.  Not sure what I want to do about the substrate.  Like
the look of the sugar sized sand but need some suggestions here.  I would
assume that some live sand with 50 or 100 lbs. of fresh rock would be a good
idea too.  Thanks again for all the suggestions and I will keep this list
informed on my progress and add some pics to my web page of what it looks
like now.  Might be easier for you guys to help me if you can see what I am
up against.
Thanks
Glen
