I am looking at getting a couple of Ron's skimmers too. About the time I
decide on them I go to a place called the Coral Connection outside of New
Orleans and they build downdrafts for $450 and run them with a big mag drive
pump (2000 gph). Looking at spending about $800 on two of ron's and 500 on
this. With all your experiences do you still think I am better off with
Ron's. Never have used a downdraft so I don't know.
