Thanks to all that replied . The problem is somewhat resolved in that I'm
now able to
fire up the Icecap and able to shut it on and off with the AquaController.
Taking Craigs
advise I spoke to the experts at Home Depot about RFI and EMI and also
spoke to my
brother who is a retired Electrician. The circuit that the aquarium uses is
WAY OVERLOADED!!
Too many pumps, heaters, lights, etc, etc. This same circuit also feeds my
bedroom and other lights
around the house. This weekend I'm running a new circuit dedicated to just
the aquarium. For added
insurance I also purchased some new power strips that cut down on RFI and EMI.
Thanks again,
Lou
