some of my corraline algae looks like its turning white,  should I be 
concerned,  what is it doing??

Not sure where the best place is, but you may consider getting it from 3 or
4 places. If you need 20 lbs, get 5 lbs from each place. Reason is, this
will give you a wide variety of critters in the sand. If you get it from one
place, you risk getting one "set" of critters, but with more sources, more
variety. You may even consider trying to sneak some from any fellow reefer
friends tanks you have living near by.
