I agree with Shane.I would turn off your fluidized filter asap.I would
remove the bioballs a little at a time so your sytem has time to handle the
bioload as your bio material is removed.I would get the calerpa tank going
as soon as you can.Just buy doing this your nitrates should go down near
zero.The bacteria will grow in your substrate,sand,and your live
rock.Kalkwasser mix will help keep your calcium levels up and keep a steady
ph but you will probably need a liquid calcium additive.I use kent marine
liquid calcium.For your alkilinity I use kent marine supper buffer kh
builder.I use liquid calcium and alkilinity test kits that I get from my
lfs.Hope this Helps.Ken
