Thats going to be your problem, drilling the tank. It may very well end up
broken. I believe the 10 gallon tanks use a thin tempered glass, which will
make it very hard to drill, and it is expensive to get glass drilled. You
may be better off buying and acrylic one, or trying to find some type of
rubbermaid container that will work for you. Just a thought.
This plumbing scheme works well. It is how I have mine set up now, and it
works pretty good. You will want to try and put the output towards the back
of the sump, away from the input to your return so that any air that gets
through is expelled before getting to your return pump.
Also, I drilled a second hole, and added another return for a back up (just
incase something weird happened to the first return, I am paranoid.

LEAVING THE LIST
================
To stop receiving messages you will need to send a message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a command to remove you from the list. The list
manager controls who belongs to the list.
For example:
--------------------------------------------------------------
From: John Doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: <not needed>
UNSUBSCRIBE
