I would strongly recommend a sump. If you can do it with the tank, then do
it. They add water volume, and allow expansion capabilities. If you want to
add a new skimmer, it is easier to get one that sits in the sump, heaters
can go in their, extra live rock, carbon etc. Go with the sump, and split
your output from your pump and have one on each side.

If you like the closed loop idea, you can do it pretty much however you
want. The more outputs you run, the larger the pump you will need. I have
one input and one output, and it is run by a mag 24. I have to restrict if
quite a bit, otherwise the stream of water would blow the hood off my tank!

If I were to do it again from scratch, I would do one input in the middle of
the tank. I would do 4 outputs. One on each corner. All would be 1/2 inch
bulkheads. They need to be a few inches in, you dont want them to close to
the edge of the tank for strenght reasons. That would give you 2 outputs in
front for current, and 2 in back to keep water flowing behind the rockwork.
If you went that route, a mag 4 would probably work. I would use mags
because they have threaded input and output so you dont have to worry about
the tubing slipping off. Plus they are strong pumps. You will also want to
use ball valves on all your outputs so that you can control the amount of
water flowing from each output. With 1/2 bulkheads, you can then easily use
locline adjustable tips that you can screw right in and then aim the
direction of the flow. They stick up about 2 inches, so you will need to
stack rocks around them to hide them.

LEAVING THE LIST
================
To stop receiving messages you will need to send a message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a command to remove you from the list. The list
manager controls who belongs to the list.

For example:
 --------------------------------------------------------------
       From: John Doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
         To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
    Subject: <not needed>

    UNSUBSCRIBE
