For a lighter weight editor on the PC, check out E, a Window's based TextMate clone that actually can use textmate bundles etc. While heavier again, you might also want to check out Aptana Studio... it's eclipse based and can be slow but it's eclipse pre-customized for dynamic languages and scripting.
