Liquidweb.com is fantastic. Their support is 2nd to none. When I couldn't figure out what was wrong when my Magento install went bad, their support guys re-installed and corrected the issue. They are not your typical "out-source support to who knows where" company.
Fwiw, I had a horrible experience with Mediatemple (although I may not be the norm). Their grid-service is just unacceptable (but I'm sure their dedicated service is a different story).
