I share the same thoughts with Jeff.  The other issue is reliable customer 
support, should
you have a need to call (for example, creating a keystore or some other manner 
of
import).

There isn't any reason to go with Verisign, as they are very expensive and 
other reasonable
solutions exist.  I recommend Digicert, as a low three-figure source.
