I found it easy to use and worked much like Dreamweaver. I have used NVU and personally don't care for it. CoffeeCup Free is limited in what it can do. I've heard good things about CoffeeCup, and I recall trying it a few years ago with good results, but it's not F/OSS. Not expensive, though: $49. http://download.cnet.com/CoffeeCup-HTML-Editor/3000-10247_4-10003347.html I still use Homesite, originally an Allaire product, then Macromedia, then Adobe. Adobe discontinued it, unfortunately.
